Due to current and anticipated road conditions and ongoing overnight snow, Carroll County Schools will observe an NTI Day tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 12. Staff will not report to school, but teachers will be available for students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This is the agenda for Thursday's Carroll County Board of Education working meeting. Some have asked if the proposed tax increase will be discussed. It is not on the agenda and will not be discussed. By law, special meetings have discussion limited only to the items on the agenda. This is considered a special meeting because the date was changed, not because of the content. All board of education meetings are open to the public.

We are always on the lookout for bus drivers! Go to join.ccpanthers.com to join our team!

Panther families, if your child needs technical support during this NTI Day, please call the technical support line at 502-732-1066.

The Carroll County Board of Education's working meeting is rescheduled from tonight, Feb. 11, to Thursday, Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. in the board of education conference room at 813 Hawkins St., Carrollton.

A message from Mrs. Wells:
Good morning Cartmell families! We hope you are staying warm and safe on this snowy day.
Last week I posted that students who were sick with a doctor note did NOT have to complete the NTI work. This was a misunderstanding on my part and is NOT aligned with district policy. ALL students MUST complete NTI work.
If your child is missing their packet, a digital copy can be found on your teacher's Rooms page and can also be emailed directly to parents upon request. We can also give your child a new packet upon our return to school. We will work with you and your child to make up any missing NTI work. Please reach out if you have any questions. I apologize for this error in communication.

The Carrollton City Council issued a proclamation on behalf of our school counselors tonight. The gesture is in honor of last week's counselor recognition week.

Due to anticipated winter weather, Carroll County Schools will use an NTI day on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Teachers will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No staff will report to school.

This week marks Family Resources Youth Services Center (FRYSC) Appreciation Week. Thank you to our three FRYSC staff who work tirelessly to help children throughout our school district!
