CCMS students learned how their choices can take them on good or bad paths at a Truth or Consequences program sponsored by the Carroll County Cooperative Extension Service recently. Students drew a scenario then traveled to different stations to learn their fate. They also experienced what it was like to function under the influence of intoxicants by wearing “drunk goggles.” This piece of the program was led by the Carrollton Police Department.

Several CCMS students learned how to weave at a workshop funded through the Arts in Mind Grant from the Northern Kentucky Institute for Arts Education. Norma Drish, from The Little Loomhouse in Louisville, was the guest weaver. Twenty-nine students elected to attend this arts enrichment opportunity, maintained good behavior and had no grade below a C for the first nine weeks.
