
The Carroll County Board of Education has released its 2025 meeting schedule. All meetings are open to the public.


Jeff Bates, the newest member of the Carroll County Board of Education, visited Carroll County Middle School and Kathryn Winn Primary today. January is School Board Recognition Month. Thank you Mr. Bates for visiting with our students today!

Would you like to learn more about the district facilities plan and how anticipated school/grade structure changes can be made? Join us at the Town Halls on Jan. 27 and 28 before the basketball games. We will meet in the Maker Space (ag workshop) at Carroll County High School.

Conditions appeared good enough to go to school tomorrow, but bus turnarounds, sidewalks and other areas are still unsafe for travel. As a result, we will use another NTI Day on Monday, Jan. 13. Each school will follow its NTI protocol. Stay safe and warm!


The Carroll County Schools maintenance staff has worked hard all weekend to get sidewalks and parking lots ready for students and staff to come back to school tomorrow. We look forward to seeing everyone in school tomorrow! Get good rest tonight!




January is School Board Appreciation Month. Carroll County Schools is blessed with a dedicated set of board members who work diligently to provide the best for our students and staff. Thank you to Gwen Chapman, D'Anne Smith, Carolyn Jones, Corey Groseclose and Jeffery Bates.


Carroll County Schools will utilize NTI Days on Thursday, Jan. 9 and Friday, Jan. 10. Schools will contact students regarding their assignments.

The Carroll County Schools maintenance department has been hard at work clearing sidewalks and parking lots for students and staff. We always appreciate their hard work, but they deserve a special word of thanks for their efforts in these frigid conditions.

The nursing staff at CCMS and CCHS arranged to have staff from the Three Rivers Health Department come to the schools to administer vaccinations recently. This is one of the many services offered by our health services department to help increase compliance with required health documentation. Thanks to the ongoing efforts of the nursing staff at Carroll County Schools and the help of our health department, our immunization compliances increased to 96.4% at CCMS and 72.6% at CCHS.
