
Carroll County Middle School is hosting tryouts for the boys' basketball team beginning Sept. 23.


The CCHS boys' golf team competed against Owen County for senior night on Tuesday. Coy Willhoite and Dillan Human were recognized by the CCHS team.

Madi Groves and Coy Willhoite were recognized by the Carroll County Board of Education tonight. The pair were the CCHS Ambassadors to the Swiss Wine Festival recently. In addition, Madi has earned her State FFA Degree and Coy was named to the East-West All Star Baseball team.

High school and Area Technology Center students attended the K4C (Kentucky Construction Career Choices Council) career days this week. Open gym is beginning for CCHS boys' basketball!


Kathryn Winn Primary students celebrated Grandparents' Day today. Students welcomed all the grandparents, family members and community volunteers who stood in for grandparents before they dispersed to the classrooms. (More photos on the District Facebook page.)

CCHS students participated in board games during intramurals last week. Magali McCarty's enrichment students created an original card game, including the concept, rules, artwork, prototypes and a play testing event as part of their science and social studies enrichment.
