Juniors! Do you want to some help with your ACT? Sign up for the Super Saturday Sessions!
The Super Saturday sessions aim to help students feel more comfortable and confident tackling the ACT. These sessions allow students to work one-on-one or in small groups with content experts to help expand their understanding of English, Math, Reading, or Science. Super Saturdays also allow students to work on non-content issues like test anxiety and navigating timed tests. While priority registration is given to juniors, it is open to any student scheduled to take the ACT in the spring.

Kendall Clifford welcomed her CCHS students back with a team-building activity called Portrait Gallery. Students worked with their shoulder partners to create a portrait of the person across from them, but there's a twist. Students had to work with their partners to draw the portraits. Students rotated their piece of paper every 15 seconds with the person beside them. Neither student got to do the majority of the work and they had to figure out what their strengths were to better help their partner.

Co-curricular students taught by Hannah Marsh and Kendall Clifford made ornaments for the children in Natalie Abbott and Cassandra Southworth’s classes. They also read books with the children and colored with them. The groups even enjoyed cupcakes as a treat from the Cartmell classes. (More photos on the district Facebook page.)
