
February is CTE (Career and Technical Education) month. Students in the automotive program at the Carroll County Area Technology Center learn the skills of their trade.

Students in fourth and eighth grades recently got to learn about classes and programs at the high school, iLEAD, ATC and JCTC. They also got to speak with several local employers during a career expo at the middle school. (More photos on the district Facebook page.)



A parent meeting is scheduled for student athletes on the middle and high school track and field teams.


Each Friday CCHS students are introduced to a number of careers that coincide with their interest and aptitude. Tourism and hospitality professionals spoke to the students recently.











You're never too old to celebrate Valentine's Day and compete for the best decorated box in the classroom. At least that's the spirit in Diane Glen's pre-nursing class at the Carroll County ATC. Students in the morning and afternoon classes celebrated the holiday.

CCHS Principal Amy Sutter praised student leadership of a pre-Homecoming pep rally and the band of gold being directed by two of its members, Grace Whisman and Shelby Hillebrandt, during the game Friday night. The students took an active role in making Homecoming a big success!

A big crowd came to the CCHS Panthers Homecoming Friday night. Fans watched the girls' and boys' teams defeat Henry County. More Homecoming photos are posted on the District Facebook page.

The CCHS Boys' and Girls' soccer teams, which are reigning District Champions, were recognized Friday night for their achievement. Congratulations to these student athletes!


A Town Hall will be held Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. at Carroll County Middle School to continue gathering input that will be used to draft a Strategic Plan for Carroll County Schools. Please come and share your input with us!


CCHS administrators had a good time at homecoming festivities Friday night. Principal Amy Sutter joined students to cheer on the Panthers while Assistant Principal David Craig and long-time friend Carrollton Police Chief Mike Willhoite took advantage of a beautiful photo backdrop to recreate the Step Brothers poster.

Congratulations to all members of the CCHS Homecoming Court. They include Freshman Prince Nik Brown and Princess Hannah Weedman; Sophomore Prince Yerson Aguilar and Princess Kait Maiden; Junior Prince Teague Walls and Princess Cierrah Schaub; Senior Queen candidates Kayley Cates, Robin Dillard, Madi Hicks, KaiLeah Howard and Mayra Nava Sanchez; Senior King candidates Ross Crawford, Seth Franklin, Landon Groves, Braden Stephenson and Gage Stone.

Madi Hicks and Ross Crawford were crowned Carroll County High School Homecoming Queen and King tonight. Congratulations to these Panthers!

CCHS held a pep rally today in advance of tonight's homecoming games against Henry County. Games begin at 6 p.m. The king and queen will be crowned between the girls' and boys' games. Students played a game of Hungry, Hungry Hippos with the juniors taking first place and the basketball players also competed in a game of Knockout against the staff.
