A number of students in Carroll County Schools were recognized for participating in 4H for 10 years during the annual volunteer forum held in February. They include Addy Campbell, Rileigh Darnold, Lilly Frye, Jocie Kate Harris, Zackary Kindoll, Kylee Kinman, Kait Maiden, Jesse Mann, Brenna Mefford, Houston Parker, Braden Stewart and Trey Stucker.


This week we celebrate our school social workers during National School Social Worker Week. Thank you for all you do!


These CCHS students repaired the Commonwealth of Kentucky flag flying at their school recently. The students are Jaylinn Perkinson, Chevy Fountain and Cole Crawford. They were aided by Jeff Fremin.

The CCHS boys 4x800 team of Alex Bolton (8th), Taylor Harsin (11th), Aiden Lilley (11th), and Asriel Aguazul Mendoza (9th) finished 7th at the Inaugural KHSAA Indoor State Track Championship this weekend. Congratulations to these student athletes!

Kaitlyn "KK" Hensley, Braden Stephenson and Landon Groves were named to the 31st District All-Tournament basketball team. Congratulations to these student athletes!

The middle and high school bands will perform on March 7 at CCMS. This is a preparatory concert for their upcoming concert band festival. A guest judge will evaluate each band and give feedback following their performances. Come enjoy a night of quality music!


CCMS will host a band concert for seventh and eighth graders on March 7. Some high school musicians will also participate. Seventh grade will perform at 5:30 and eighth grade at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive 30 minutes before performance time. The bands will be evaluated by a guest judge to prepare them for the annual concert band festival.


The District 31 boys' and girls' basketball championship games are tonight at Carroll County High School. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. with the boys at 8 p.m. Trophy presentations and net cuttings will occur after each game.

CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month comes to a close with a spotlight on the pre-nursing students in the Carroll County Area Technology Center. They are shown demonstrating skills as well as showing middle school students what they learn in class.

CTE (Career and Technical Education) Month wraps up today. Students in the agriculture program at Carroll County High School are shown working in the greenhouses, planting flowers and preparing the hydroponic greenhouse for the next growing season.

The CCHS Panthers basketball team has advanced in the District 31 tournament for the first time in 12 years. Fill the stands tonight to cheer them on to victory against Gallatin County! Admission is $8 per person. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at CCHS.
