The CCHS staff members spent some time having fun together today, getting to know one another outside of their classrooms and enjoying laughing together. They played a game of šŸ¦›Hungry, Hungry Hippos, šŸ€basketball knockout, šŸšping pong ball toss, ran a šŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™€ļøthree-legged race and engaged in a very competitive šŸ”Žscavenger hunt. Carroll County Middle School is kicking off an exciting new chapter by introducing the Leader in Me curriculum. The program is built to help students grow into confident, capable leaders. Based on Stephen Covey’s renowned 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, this initiative focuses on real-world skills like responsibility, goal-setting, and teamwork. Staff members have spent two full days in hands-on training with Amy Cordrey, preparing to bring these ideas to life in classrooms and across CCMS. Since Kathryn Winn Primary and Cartmell Elementary already use Leader in Me, many students will hit the ground running with concepts they know and recognize.

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball ⚾and our maintenance staff knocked it out of the park today.šŸŸļø
A new walk-in freezer is scheduled to be installed tomorrow in the CCHS cafeteria. This morning, while preparing the area for the new freezer, our maintenance crew discovered part of the flooring was not ready. Rather than panic, our great team developed a solution and began laying concrete in necessary areas so everything will be ready for tomorrow’s installation.
🌟Kudos to our maintenance team for always finding a solution to a problem and making the ending be successful!🌟
