Craig Joins Carroll County High School as Assistant Principal



Mr. David Craig was named the new Assistant Principal for CCHS in July of 2022. “We welcome David Craig back to Carroll County High School. His knowledge of and relationship with the students, parents and faculty of CCHS will be a valuable asset to the high school achieving the vision and goals set by Ms. Sutter.” says Casey Jaynes, Superintendent of Carroll County Schools. 

CCHS Principal Amy Sutter says, “Mr. Craig is going to be a great addition to our administrative team at CCHS. During our administrative retreat, he gave us new ideas and shared his concern for our student and staff safety, educational experience and the passion for being a Panther.” 

Mr. Craig comes to Carroll County as a former assistant principal, Dean of Students and Carroll County Middle School Special Education teacher. He is also the current Carroll County Parks and Recreation Assistant Director which is a vital program to support Panther Athletics at the Middle and High School levels. He holds an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership and Administration from Asbury University, a Master of Arts in Special Education Learning and Behavior Disorders from Georgetown College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice and Safety from Northern Kentucky University. 

Mr. Craig stated, “I am thrilled to be joining Carroll County Schools as the Assistant Principal of CCHS. The message that I want all of Carroll County to understand is that we are 100% in this

together. The excitement and passion that I have seen from the leadership teams in the district, was mirrored by the teachers during our first professional development. We have to keep that momentum going so that it spreads throughout the community. ”
